What is this?

United States of Europe is a civic map platform covering all 49 European countries. It puts news and local notices on a single full-screen map so you can see what is happening across the continent — and exactly where.

What the map shows

The map displays two types of content pinned to their location:

• News articles — aggregated from over 30 European publishers every 30 minutes, AI-classified by category, and tagged to the city or region they concern.
• Community notices — short posts submitted by registered users about local events, opportunities, or announcements. Notices are reviewed by a moderator before appearing on the map.

You can filter both by country, category, or keyword, and click any pin for a summary. News articles link out to the original publisher.

Posting a notice

Anyone with a free account can post a notice. Place the pin on the map, choose a category, write a title and description, and submit. A moderator will review it — approved notices appear publicly within a short time. Notices expire automatically unless you set no expiry date.

Who runs it

United States of Europe is an independent project. It is run by a small team and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the European Union or any of its institutions. For enquiries, see our contact page.
